A Look Back.............

Hi to all!

Monday we had parent/teacher conference day....so Ella Kate got to spend the day with Elizabeth Grace. They made pizzas and cookies. Memaw picked up Ella Kate and Emma Klaire around three and they just hung out.  HA!

Tuesday Norman to Ella Kate to cheer and Upward evaluations. Ella Kate has decided she wants to play Upward basketball this year. She is really excited. I had my Girls' Night Out Supper Club.  It was sooooooo yummy! I am going to have to start taking pictures so that I can blog better about it. Emma Klaire stayed with MeMe............we had a late night.

Wednesday we didn't have church so the girls played at Nana's for awhile so I could clean. Then we went to bed early!!!

Thursday I left early from school with Ella Kate and took her to her daddy's office. She was running a fever, but Emma Klaire had an ear check-up at 3:00. Emma Klaire's ears are great, and Dr. Berry took the tubes out. Hopefully she will stay well this winter. When we got back I took Ella Kate to the doctor. She had strep. She got a shot and some medicine, but by Friday afternoon was sooooooooo much better. Worth the shot for sure!!!!!!

Friday Norman stayed home with Ella Kate. They played and rested. We just hung out Friday night.

Saturday I went and picked up Elijah and Mason. Elijah spend his first night with us!! He was so good, and had such a great time playing with my girls. We went to a fish fry at Pepaw's and Memaw's church, and then went to their church again Sunday before taking the boys home Sunday afternoon.

Today was just a good ole Monday....boy it sure is getting dark earlier and earlier!!!

I know there was not very much exciting news in this update................but I think it will be neat to go back and read from time to time.

Another busy (but wonderful) week!

Let's see.... Monday was a looooooooooooong school day for some reason. After school we had Uncle David's visitation and Nana stayed with the girls. Tuesday I took off, and we took the girls to school late. After the funeral we went and got the girls early so they could visit at Memaw's with family. Uncle's David service was very __________ I am not sure what word I am looking for... sad...yet perfect. I realize a funeral can't be in anyway enjoyable, but Brother Hooper had a sweet message that fit Uncle David and his life.

Wednesday I had to go to the dentist so Nana kept the girls again. Then on to church to teach my sweet 2-3's. Thursday we went to visit Gran Gran. She is always happy to see those girls. Friday we had "movie night". We rented Chestnut. It was one of the best kid's movie I have seen in awhile. The girls loved it.
Saturday....I decided to try and clean out closets. Let's just say..................I accomplished some, but I am NOT finished!!! Saturday afternoon D, Nana, Norman, the girls, and I went to The Pumpkin Patch with our church. It was a hoot!! Below are pictures to prove it......................

Sunday afternoon Norman and Ella Kate carved some of the pumpkins we got. Norman is still going to do a traditional jack-o-lantern for Emma Klaire sometime.

A busy last few days!

Thursday I went out with the third grade teachers to eat supper. It is always fun! We of course talked about school. Friday night we stayed home and relaxed. I walk...Yeah!!!

Saturday was sooooooooooo busy. Memaw, the girls, and I went to Grenada to watch Blake march in the band competition. We met Matt and his crew to eat. We had a good time, and Blake did an awesome job!!!! When we got back we went to our church's homecoming celebration!!! The kids had a blast. Emma Klaire and Ella Kate went on two hayrides!! No pictures ....sorry!

Today was homecoming at our church. It was a great service.

On a sad note....Pepaw's brother...Uncle David passed away... So it has been sad around here also. His funeral will be Tuesday.

Just a short post:)

Monday we got to visit with Uncle Don and Aunt Janice at Nana's. We haven't seen them in awhile. It was great to see them. We are possibly planning a trip to see them in November.  Yeah!

Tuesdays are always long becasue we don't get home until around 7:15 due to Cheer Cats. Ella Kate loves it though, and I am glad.

Nana picked up the girls today to play. Then we will go to church. Just another wonderful week.

The weather is sooooooooooooo nice. I really wish I could find time to walk. That is just one of the many things that tends to get left out of my day. Oh well!

I am really going to try and do better. First let me recap the last two weeks!!! Oh My!

The week of the 20th was actually a normal school week. We had dacnce, piano, visisted with Gran Gran. Nana, D, Memaw, and Pepaw. The 25th Pepaw, Memaw, the girls and I went to the NICU Reunion. Ella Kate spent 4 1/2 weeks there when she was born. The doctors and nurses took such good care of her. It sure was a scary time for all of us. It was so hard to leave her every night to come home.  Below is a picture of her main doctor..Dr. Darling..! Ella Kate only weighed 2 pounds and 14 ounces when she was born!! God is Good!!

After going to the hospital, we all went to the mall and shopped and ate till we were very tired!!!!

Sunday Norman and the girls went to church. I had some kind of virus that kept me in bed. I even left work early Monday, but by Tuesday I was much better.  The rest of the week went well. Ella Kate had two teeth pulled Thursday. She did so well!!!!! No problems at all.

Friday night Norman and I went to Tupelo to eat and look at dishwashers while Ella Kate went with Nana to the ballgame adn Emma Klaire stayed with Memaw and Pepaw.
Saturday the girls and I went shopping with Mae Mae. We found some good deals and had lots of fun. We got to see Matt and the boys for just a short while.

I reallly hope I can stay up to date better. This going back and trying to remember is for the birds.  Ha!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures below!!!

I am going to be an Aunt again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When KK and JC were home Labor Day we found out they were expecting. JC was taking a family picture and instead of saying...everyone say cheese....he said....everyone say KKs pregnant!!!! The picture below caught all of our excited expressions!!!  We can't wait for May 3rd!!!!!!
