Happy Grandparents' Day!

Today is Grandparents' Day, and my children are so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents. Both sets are always there for them and love them so much. Today we had them over to eat lunch at our house. Lacey and Tim came also. The weather was amazing. It was a good day!

 Nana and D

Also we are so grateful that we have our Gran Gran!  We went and visited with her Thursday. I didn't take a picture, and this is only one I can find for the time being. I know I have some with both girls somewhere.

So sweet!

This makes me miss Grandma Ricie and Papaw Billy also!

I was blessed with some awesome grandparents myself.

So until next time...............find JOY!!!

Dance Recital

Ella Kate had her dance recital in May. She performed in baton and clogging. She did an amazing job!

We were so proud of Ella Kate. Emma Klaire will get to participate in the recital this year, and she is SO excited!

So until next time.........find JOY!!

Mother's Day---4 months late

We did celebrate Mother's Day!  I am so fortunate to have an awesome mother who is always there for me. I am also thankful for a great mother-in-law who helps us. And then there is the fact that I am a mother, and that still is amazes me.

Happy Labor Day!

I am not sure why I thought I could keep my blog up to date. Ha!  Anyway ....Happy Labor Day! We are just chilling and grilling. Yummy burgers, hot dogs, and stuffed jalapenos. It is still very hot and humid.

I can't believe that I didn't blog about Emma Klaire's 5th birthday!

Emma Klaire turned 5 on her birthday August 10th.  I still can't believe that my baby is 5.

Emma Klaire we love you so much! You keep us on our toes. You have so much spunk about you, and you a such a caring heart. You try to be too grown-up for me. I wasn't ready for you to turn 5, but you have been ready since you turned 4. We decided to not send you to kindergarten this year because you would have had to start when you were still 4. So you are still in preschool with Mrs. Annie............and you love it! Kindergarten will come soon enough. You love clothes, shoes, and lots of "bling." I know you will become something amazing! I couldn't decide which sweet picture to use................so I chose all of them.

We took cupcakes and drinks to your preschool class to help celebrate your birthday. Then that night we celebrated your birthday with Pepaw, Memaw, D, and Nana. We had tacos and cake!
WARNING.........PICTURE OVERLOAD!
