...and then we watched the forks curl in the fire...

Ha!  More about the title later.

Let's see.. last week was a normal week for us. Monday home early...............Tuesday we saw Nana, went to cheer, and ate with Bec Bec............... Wednesday was church.............Thursday we were home early (Ella Kate went to Nana's and then Nana brought her home and visited with us.) Friday Ella Kate had a party at Elizabeth Grace's. While she was there Norman, Emma Klaire, and I went to Danver's and the mall.............Saturday the girls and I went to Reece's and Rylan's birthday party. So all in all a busy but normal week.........Love it!!

At the birthday party...it was a costume party!

Trying to pop the balloon to get to the candy!

Ella Kate had to get all of that candy with her teeth only!!  UGH!

Back to my title...................... Saturday I marinated some thin steaks for supper. I was going to fix mac/cheese, rolls, and baked potatoes.  ....and I did.... As I was getting supper ready, Norman came in and said the girls were really wanting to eat by the fire outside, and that he had talked them out of hot dogs since he knew I was cooking. SO..............we took our steak and other food items outside and ate by the fire. Now about that title....after we ate the Norman and the girls decided to burn the plastic utensils.  They had a ball watching the forks curl up at both ends.  Now that is a first for me and my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was lots of fun (different though  HA!)...but we made some precious memories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our feast by the fire!!! It was really yummy!

For some reason it looks much brighter than it actually was.

Precious memories........how they linger....

Sunday afternoon we went to see Uncle Sammy and Aunt Sharia for her a surprise birthday party.  Below are some pictures of the party.

We have made plans to go visit Uncle Don and Aunt Janice before Thanksgiving.........we are very excited.

Also KK, JC, and Uncle William will all be home for Thanksgiving and that is super exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So until next time....I hope you find much JOY!

I Want God to Hold Me!

How precious! We were laying in bed last night and after prayers Emma Klaire said, "I want God to hold me." I told her he was....but of the simple perfect faith of children.

Last week was busy. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were pretty much normal. Thursday night we did all go to the Fall Festival.

Friday I went shopping by myself, which was fun and kind of sad. I still have trouble sometimes getting past the fact that she really is gone :(.

Saturday Emma Klaire and I stayed home until trick-or- treat time. A chair fell on Emma Klaire's toe, and it hurt soooooo bad. She cried for a long time, and finally fell asleep with me holding her.

Ella Kate went with Pepaw and Memaw to First Monday (flea market) and had a ball. She loved the animals and looking for "treasures".

Memaw went with the girls and me trick-or-treating. (Norman went to watch MSU play.) We went to Mrs. Andrea's, Gran Gran's, and D's.  (Nana has been in Los Angeles.) Then we went back around our house and visisted some church people. We didn't do as much as we usually do because Emma Klaire wasn't feeling well. They still had fun, but I didn't really get any good pictures.

Ella Kate was a MSU Fan!!

Emma Klaire was a "kitty"...not a very happy one though due to the toe!

Sunday we had baby dedication at church. When Emma Klaire was a baby, she missed her dedication because she had pink eye. So she just now got officially dedicated. It was a really sweet service. She did well and sat through the whole service.

I love these curls:)

On another note...one day last week...on the way to school....Emma Klaire informed me she wanted a trombone for Christmas. I asked why she wanted a trombone. She said, " So I can make music!" So a trombone it is... Ha!!!

Ella Kate is doing well and being a doll...................I want to make sure I included her also:)

So until next time....I hope you find much JOY!!
