Emma Klaire's 4th Birthday Party!

On August 13th we had Emma Klaire a swimming/ladybug birthday party. We invited family and church friends. The weather was overcast so that equals perfect in August.

She had a great time, and I think everyone else did also!

Since September 5th.....

Life has pretty much been going smoothly and perfect since I last blogged.  We have had dental check-ups and pediatric check-ups and both girls are doing great!!! The girls are doing well in school. Ella Kate is enjoying clogging and baton. She started piano back up, and is making it fine with her braces. Emma Klaire is doing great also. She has learned to write "Emma" and is actually learning to write many letters.

The first time that I saw her write her name!

The weekend after Labor Day, KK and Kadence flew home. The stayed the weekend, and of course we had a ball playing with her and spoiling her.

* Just a quote I want to remember: One day Norman told Emma Klaire...."You're so funny sometimes!" She replied by saying,"Like today?"   hahahaha

Just a few pictures I wanted to share:

:)

Ella Kate and her teacher Miss Luther!

And to finsh this post off.....something Norman put on facebook...I have the best!!!!!

So until next time....I hope you find much JOY!!!

Happy Birthday Emma Klaire!

I really meant to write this post almost a month ago, but we were having computer issues. But finally ..... here it is!! I had to go back and find pictures because they weren't already on my computer.....and that was fun/sad/ bittersweet.  So wonderful to relive those moments, and sad for me that those moments are gone. Thank goodness for pictures and memories!!!  So here we go.......
NOW

THEN
Don't those cheeks make u want to squeeze them :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA KLAIRE!!!

I can't believe you are four!  It is going by so fast. We love you so much! You keep us laughing and on our toes. I am constantly writing down things you say. You have so much energy all of the time. You still love to play babies and put them on their pallets. You love being with Ella Kate, and you love lots of hugs and kisses. You love to play "Where is Emma Klaire?" ...and tell us where and how to play it. You enjoy watching "The Bug Show" ("Miss Spider of Sunny Patch") and  "Little Bill."

You still don't eat much, and we have a hard time keeping some of your clothes on your small waist.  HA! You also are a very determined child and have lots of spunk. You started dance with Mrs. Rita this year, and y'all have started preschool at COF with Mrs. Annie. You love both!

My hopes and prayers are for you to love God and be kind to others. I also hope that you always reach for the stars and achieve all of your dreams. I pray that you will always be close to your sister and remember that she loves you so much. I pray that your daddy and I can lead and guide you as you grow.  Always remember we love you so much and will always be here for you!!!!

The day after your birthday you asked us if you would still be four the next day! LOL
Yes....my sweet for a whole year. I hope it goes very slowly.

LOVE ALWAYS.......MAMA

Priceless!  One of my favorites:)

I plan to post birthday party pictures soon!

So until next time...............I hope you find much JOY!

Happy Labor Day!

We are enjoying a lazy, rainy Labor Day. It is suppose to rain all day again. We really have needed  rain, and the temperatures this week are going to be amazing!!!!!

Friday afternoon we headed to Jackson for a quick trip....just the four of us. We stopped at Cracker Barrel on the way. YUM YUM! One of the highlights for Emma Klaire especially.... was the hotel.  HA!  She is still talking about the mini fridge and microwave. She enjoyed opening and closing them over and over. The girls got to swim for just a little bit before bedtime.

Saturday morning we got up and ate at Dunkin' Donuts. Norman got tickled at me because I couldn't make a decision. Ha!  Well I mean............have you ever seen the choices they have? He got just glazed of course.

Then we headed to the Mississippi Children's Museum. It just opened in December. We had a great time.

Can you find Ella Kate?

Daddy trying to be a turtle!  He skinned his knees attempting this.  LOL
The large scrabble board was probably one of our favorite things.

We were having to keep people from getting our letters, so Nana....sorry didn't get to do yours and D's name this time.

Paint Ball was fun!

Ella Kate enjoyed making spin art.

Emma Klaire put on a show! Of Course

Human Velcro Wall...too funny!

After the museum we went to the mall and Target for a bit before heading home.

So until next time...................we hope you find much JOY!!!
