Children's Camp

Ella Kate and I went to Children's Camp at Dorrah Lake this week. We had so much fun. Brother Glen, Mrs. Tammie, and the youth did an awesome job. Ella Kate really had a great time. She rode in the paddle boats and loved that.

Today we are packing to go see KK and JC (Katherine and Jonathan)!!! Yeah!! We are so excited. We haven't seen KK since Feb. and it has been longer than that since we have seen JC. Nana, the girls, and I will be leaving around 4:00 in the morning. Say a prayer for safety!  Thanks.

I am still having trouble putting the pictures in the exact place I want them, and then being able to write about each picture.  It will happen though one day.

My Kind of Summer Day!

Oh my it is sooooooooooooo hot!!!! We were lazy today. We swam, napped, and swam some more. In the middle of all that, I packed Ella Kate and I for children's camp (yeah!) and shucked and put up some corn. Man ...it takes a lot of ears of corn to get enough to put up. I only got two quart size bags put up, but it will be yummy.

This is one of my favorite pictures of our beach trip to Destin. Hopefully I will get to post more and tell about our trip soon!

                                                Happy Father's Day

Yesterday we were really busy. I ran to Tupelo while the girls played at Nana's. Later in the day we went to Anna's birthday swimming party.....Lots of fun!

This morning Ashley came and helped me work on my blog setup.  Thanks a million!!!!!!!

I am so thankful my husband. He is such a perfect, awesome daddy to our girls. He loves spending time with them and is always around. I couldn't ask for anything more.

As you can see......I finally got some pictures to upload, but now I can't figure out how to place the pictures where I want them.   Oh well....it takes time....and one day I will master it. Ha!

I love Summer!

This morning Mandy, Katelyn, and Abby came and swam with us. Lots of fun! Then this afternoon Nana and Bec Bec swam with us! Lots of fun also! A busy full day AT HOME...my kind of day.

Wow! I have had a busy day! Ella Kate had her first spend the night company last night. It went well....except we went to bed really late. Elizabeth Grace has been a friend since preschool. ok I just tried to upload a picture of Ella Kate and Elizabeth Grace....didn't work. I guess I am going to be calling Janet again. So no picture....unless for some reason I can't sleep and decide to try again later.

We swam this morning with Elizabeth Grace and then I took the girls to Art Camp. They have had a blast. Maybe I can put pictures of some of Ella Kate's artwork on here. While the girls were at camp and Emma Klaire was napping I shucked corn! Yeah me! I cooked supper and of course with that came having to clean my kitchen. I can make such a mess when I cook, but I enjoyed it.

Well I can't get the background and header to work like I want it to right now. Hopefully, later today (since it is already Thursday) I will work on it some more. I have to keep reminding myself that I can't get it just like I want it all at one time. :)

Just Stuff

Yesterday we went over to my friend Janet's house. Janet blogs also (and when I find out how to do links...I will). She gave me some tips...so when I find time (which is an issue) I will change my background, upload photos, and work on my profile. After we finished, Janet and her sweet children came and swam. Ella kate had art camp, and then we headed to a wonderful revival service.

Today I meant to get up early and begin on cleaning the house...but I didn't. We have to clean for Ella Kate's first spend the night company.... Yeah!! In between taking Ella Kate to art camp and picking up Ella Kate and Elizabeth Grace I need to: go to Gran Gran's , the cleaners, Wal-mart, the library, etc. Can it be done? We shall see!

Summer Days

I still have not had time to work on the way my page looks or to add anything else. I want to eventually go back and share things. However, for now I am just starting with now. I want this to become a "scrapbook" of our lives. Mainly for my children to have something to go back and read.


I will go ahead and add a disclaimer here....lol! I don't spell well, and I have a hard time deciding on some punctuation marks....so you will just have to overlook all mistakes. I am not going to stress about it...hopefully.

Today we slept late, swam (a long time), Emma Klaire napped. We have revival tonight.

My First Post

This is my first post on my blog spot. This is just to see if it will work. I have lots to do to get this blogspot like I want it. I have so much to learn....so we will just have to wait and see how it goes.
