We have had a wonderful spring break. I decided I would blog about spring break, and then I would catch up on everything else. We left Friday after school headed for Texas. We drove to Arkadelphia and spent the night. The girls did great, and thanks to Nana for the great room. Saturday morning we got up early to finish our trip.


 We got to Denton around 12:00ish. We had fun just hanging out and enjoying visiting. Kadence has gotten so big, and she is super sweet, cute, and smart. They are teaching her some sign language. She knows please, more, finished, and milk really well .We went to Target, a shopping center, and two parks. We had a great time.

The two pictures above are when Kadence saw Nana and the girls for the first time on our trip.

We left Texas around 4:30 Wednesday morning, so that put us home around 2:30. I like riding early in the morning and having part of my day left. Thursday and Friday I didn't leave the house.......now that is relaxing to me.

Staying Busy!

We are still here....living life. We are well thank goodness. I have several pictures and things to blog about. I just can't seem to find the time. Hopefully, I will get to it soon.

I started this post on Sunday, Feb. 4th.....
This week Ella Kate has been sort of sick. She has had a really bad cough. I took her to the doctor, and she got some medicine. She stayed with Memaw Thursday and still had to leave school early Friday because of the coughing. We are home from church today because of that cough also. Hopefully, by tomorrow it will be better.

Yesterday we had Ella Kate's family birthday party. The theme was smurfs...La la la la la sing a happy song. Ha!  Mrs. Kay did an amazing job on her cake once again! Matt and his family couldn't make it due to sickness and daddy was on the road, so we were missing several people. We still had good food and fun. I still can't get videos to load onto my blog.......and I know that it can be done! Anyway I got pictures of course!

        Bec Bec got Ella Kate a puzzle, and they worked hard putting it together. Then Emma Klaire decided to kiss the cats on the puzzle. Silly girl.

I am just now finishing this blog post.....Sunday, Feb. 12.  This week we had a normal busy week. I am so thankful for my family!       

I am hoping for snow!!! Not that we are really expecting it..I just had that thought. Today Matt and his family are here visiting. Fun....fun!!!

What a Mess...
