Ella Kate's Play

This is Ella Kate's first year in UFO (our gifted program). She is really enjoying it. Her class put on a play/skit about Lewis and Clark or Clark and Lewis (from the play). She did great. Here are some shots of her in action!
She was the narrator.

She was also Thomas Jefferson.

She was also a dog.

This is a tepee she made.

This is the map of Lewis and Clark's adventure that her group made.

Great Job Girl!

So until next time......I hope you find much JOY!

Church Christmas Programs

We had our church Christmas programs on Sunday, December 18th. The adult choir did an amazing job that morning. (Sorry Norman .....didn't get any pictures.) At the evening service Emma Klaire sang with her little group "Away in a Manger." She did a great job! I got video, but no picture with her group because I was helping. I just got a picture before. Then Ella Kate's choir did a short musical. It was so good.

Two pictures that I found that I really felt I should share.

Emma Klaire is holding a picture of Ella Kate wearing the same dress.  AWWW

Posing for mommy!

So until next time........find joy!

Christmas Card Pictures

Once again I waited until the last minute to get pictures for our Christmas card, but it turned out pretty cute.I don't have a picture of the actual card, but here are just a few of the many I took trying to get some. Man my girls sure are growing! Some of the many snapshots I took are below:

So until next time............find JOY!

Going to the Airport

The Wednesday after we got out for our Christmas break, the girls and I went with Nana to pick up Uncle William at the airport. The girls love going to the airport....when it is to pick up someone. The taking back part isn't much fun.....too sad. Anyway here they are waiting:

This is their favorite thing to do while waiting....up and down.

WAITING

For some reason I didn't get a picture when Willaim arrived this time.

After we got back to Nana's, Bec Bec was there and we all had a good visit.

Uncle William came out to our house and made Christmas cookies with us.

I just had to add these...I can't remmber the exact occasion..I think this was a school day.

So until next time .............find lots of JOY!!

Disney on Ice

We went to Disney on Ice several weekends ago. Ella Kate had been a couple of times, but we had never taken Emma Klaire. So Pepaw, Memaw, Norman, the girls, and I went. It was really good. I wish I had recorded the girls as they watched it. Their expressions were priceless. I got a few pictures with my iphone.

The crew...and what an expression ?

Having fun!

Chip...Ella Kate's favorite.

After the show we ate at Danver's and ran to Home Depot.

**Once again I seem to not have as many pictures of Ek1. I will have to work on that.  :)

* So until next time.........I hope you have much JOY!

Happy Birthday Memaw!

Happy Birthday to a wonderful Memaw , mother, and amazing Mother-in-law!  We wish you the best.

Today Ella Kate went and spent part of the day with Nana and D. Norman, Emma Klaire, and I just hung out around the house. Well actually I WORKED! Ha! No really since last Thursday I have cleaned closets, cabinets, emptied many little purses and bags, and gone through toys. I spent a lot of my break doing it and finally finished about four this afternoon. It was so worth it though. I don't think I have had every room in my house "clean" since we moved in. We will see how long it will last. Norman is always telling me ....Maintenance is the key....so we will try to maintain.

I cooked supper tonight for Memaw's birthday. Pepaw, Memaw, T, D, and Nana came and ate.

I didn't get a picture of  Tim this time :(

****On another note.....Since last Wednesday the girls have been sleeping upstairs ALONE ALL NIGHT!!!!  This is a major, major, major accomplishment. Now let me start by saying that the fact that they were in our bed is totally our doing, and I completely understand that. Would I do it again? Yeah....probably so.  However, it was time for them to sleep alone. (Norman lays down with them until they go to sleep. We are hoping to wean them from that in a week or so.) They have adjusted well. It is still very hard for me. I hate not having them where I can hear them breathing and knowing that I could reach out and touch them at any moment. But I know it is for the best, and we are all sleeping really well.

So until next time.............I hope you find much JOY!!!!
