I AM BACK!!!

Our computer quit on us, so I had to borrow one until we could get one. So we now have a new computer, and I can't wait to catch up. We were able to back-up everything on the old computer thank goodness, but it may take me a bit to get my pictures situated. I still have a few summer things I want to blog about. In the last few weeks both girls have started dance,  Ella Kate has started school and gotten braces, and Emma Klaire has had a birthday!!!!

The last few weeks have been busy with school, dance ,etc. So for now I am going to post a couple pictures from my phone, and then hopefully this week I can back up and do some much needed blogging.

Ella Kate had just gotten braces! She was such a trooper! She had a tough first week, but has made it great since.

Back to School!

We enjoyed a relaxing last weekend before our schedule got back into swing. Ella Kate had two swimming parties last Saturday, but otherwise we just swam and played. Sunday I floated and napped around the pool...so fun!!! I started school Tuesday. Emma Klaire did also. Ella Kate stayed with Pepaw and Memaw all week. Thursday Ella Kate went and met her teacher....Mrs. Luther. Then they picked up Emma Klaire and went to McDonalds.  I got to meet my students Thursday night and had my first day with kids Friday. Ella Kate stayed with Norman at work until lunch Friday. Then Norman and Ella Kate went to Tupelo and ate lunch played in the arcade again and watched the new Smurf movie. They had a ball!

Today we are getting ready for Ella Kate to start school Monday, getting geared up for HOMEWORK, and getting "stuff" done. We are going to swim for a bit also I am sure. The heat right now (and for this whole week) has been /is almost unbearable. The humidity is suffocating.

Last night I went out to eat with some long lost friends.....Dawn, Karen, Jennifer, and Shonda. Dawn's daddy used to be our minister of music where I went to church when I was small. I haven't seen her in years. She got this little outing organized, and it was great to see her!

Back to the first of July....one day I will be caught up!

One day while William and KK were around, we all met at Gran-Gran's house for lunch. Sweet memories were made!

JC left right after this visit. William left the next day. Kk and Kadence were able to stay until that Saturday. We hung out everyday. One night the girls and I got to keep Kadnece for a little bit while KK visited with Allison. We got to give Kadence a bottle. That was lots of fun!

We went with Nana to take Kadence and KK to the airport that Saturday. As I mentioned in an earlier post, this is the day that my girls learned that airports can be a sad place also. Goodbyes are always hard!

When we got back from the airport, Matt, Mae Mae, and the boys were here. So we had a great time swimming, eating, and enjoying time with them.

Happy Fourth of July!!!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! On the fourth Nana, D, the girls, William, KK, JC, and Kadence went to meet some new cousins. Daddy's nephew Mark has two daughters who each have had a new baby daughter a few months before Kadence. (He also has a son.) Krista's baby is Olivia Claire, and Shanna's baby is Emi Jane. Emi Jane was born twenty four or five weeks early. She weighed a pound and a few ounces. She was tiny. She now weighs 10 pounds and is doing well. Oliva Claire was born at the end of Feb., and our Kadence was born May 11th.

Today Emma Klaire is going to spend some one on one time with Nana while Ella Kate and I go have a girls' day out! Old Venice and shopping!!!!!!!

A Post At Last!

Summer is flying by, and we are enjoying our last few days of sleeping late, swimming, and doing as we please! It has really been an amazing summer. This week we have not done anything much. Exactly the way I wanted it. Elijah was here the first part of the week, and Elizabeth Grace came and swam awhile today. Otherwise we have just "hung out." Below are just some random pictures:

The last Wednesday of June (wow...I am so behind) Nana, the girls, and I went to pick up William at the airport. The girls always love to go and watch the planes and pick up someone. They have learned that picking up someone at the airport is much more fun than taking someone to the airport!

We sure do miss Uncle William when he has to leave!

We got to have a good visit with him though.The girls got to spend a lot of good, quality time with him. He came to our house and swam that Friday. Saturday we awaited the arrival of KK, JC, and baby Kadence. Her first trip to Mississippi. They got to Nana's around 2:00 right after I dropped and broke a FULL bottle of hot pink nail polish on Nana's tile floor!!! Talk about a mess!!!!!! Anyway it was great to have everyone home. That Sunday everyone went to our church and then Monday we all went to Ronny and Tami's house to celebrate the Fourth of July.



As you can see, it takes a lot of people to give Kadence a bath.  Just kidding! We just all wanted to help. She is taking a bath in Emma Klaire's babies bathtub.
