It Could Have Been Us!!

Monday night, Tuesday night, and Wednesday was very scary and stormy.

We went to the storm shelter a couple of times.

Wednesday was devastating. Not for us....but for so many!

It could have been us!!!!

We stayed in the halls at school for all but about 2-1/2 hours. The siren would go off over and over, and the children grew very restless. I was a nervous wreck!

Norman came and got the girls around lunch, and they went home and got in the storm house.

We heard a roar...........a tornado passed over our town....................it so could have been us!

I can't imagine losing everything. We continue to pray for these communities. It has been said that is one (if not the top) of the most deadly tornado outbreaks

 in history.

The thing about not posting more often is the fact that I have around 30 pictures I would love to post. :)

Last week we did our usual stuff.......................Friday we were out of school. FUN!  Matt, Mae Mae and the boys came. We grilled out, and  then had our egg hunt at church.

Well the last couple of weeks we have just kept going............. and loving this weather (except the storms!)!!! We have had some absolutely gorgeous days. It is so hard to come in ............we just want to stay outside...

 We had pictures made last Saturday. Aren't they priceless ????  :)

This Saturday Ella Kate had dance pictures made, and then we picked up her friend Mclaine. They have a class pet named Sweetie. We got to keep him for the weekend. Fun, Fun!!!

PERFECTLY NORMAL :)

Well the last two weeks have been busy/normal/perfect. I have got to where I read several blogs and keep up with several caringbridge sites. As a result................I have realized how my life is perfectly normal..................which is what I want. So many of the families just want a normal night at home..........cooking supper, taking baths, doing homework, etc,............all under the same roof. Thank you God for my normal/perfect life.

I don't like it when I don't blog because I honesetly can't remember everything we did the last couple of weeks.

Last weekend Emma Klaire was sick. She was just laying around, so I finally took her to the doctor. She ended up having an uninary tract infection. Bless her!! I stayed with her this past Monday, and she stayed at Memaw's Tuesday. She is much better thankfully.

Last Sunday Ella Kate was in her first Bible Drills. I forgot to take my camera, but a friend got a picture. So one day I will post it hopefully. I was so proud of her.

Ella Kate had her third grade musical Thursday night. It was super!!!

Friday night Norman and I had a date night....:) Olive Garden and a movie!

Saturday I cleaned the gargage while Norman did yard work and the girls played outside. The weather was glorious to say the least. Saturday late afternoon the girls and I went to the park for a little while and then on the mall to meet Bec Bec. That was lots of fun :)

Today was another beautiful day........church, walked, Wal-mart, church, etc.  Ella Kate went with the older children to watch the Associational Bible Drills. She will get to participate in that next year.

Hopefully I won't wait as long next time to update.  Remember to thank God for your normal/perfect days...I know I am so thankful.

We are suppose to get some reallly bad weather tomorrow. I am not looking forward to that. I wish I could just stay at home with my girls....but work/school beckons. Maybe it will just pass right over us.

SPRING BREAK!!

HAPPY  BIRTHDAY NANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SPRING BREAK NEWS:
Well Monday and Tuesday were wet and cold.........................BUT THE REST OF THE WEEK WAS BEAUTIFUL.. THANK YOU GOD!

Blake and Mason came to visit and stay for most of the week, so the girls played out at Memaw's and Pepaw's most of the time. I got caught up on some cleaning, school work, watching tv, etc.

Wednesday I had a mini me day! Nana kept the girls :) Wed. afternoon Gran Gran came to visit with us. That was a real treat. She is going strong, and my girls love her to come and visit.

Thursday we played outside and around. Ella Kate went to Randa Clair's birthday party that afternoon.

Friday was zoo day-----------and Elijah's birthday!

Saturday we played outside---------wonderful weather!!!!!!!! We also celebrated Nana's birthday :)

Norman planted some cherry trees and azaleas. I thought it would be neat to have a "then" picture so that one day we can have a "now" picture.

Sunday was third Sunday at Uncle Jimmy's. I didn't take my camera. :(
Today we had to go back to school :( but we made it.  Girls' Night Out is at my house tonight. Why oh why do I try hard stuff. I should just pick out something easy............Anyway I am attempting broccoli souffles and chicken pastry bundles...............we shall see!

Go..Go..Go................Now slow..slow..slow

That is how I felt last week. And I hope this week will go slow, slow, slow because it is SPRING BREAK!!!!  Its is actually raining and yucky here today, but I kind of like it. I makes you just want to stay in the house. So I am trying to get some things done so that the rest of the week we can be outside. It is suppose to be beautiful!!!

Last week I took Emma Klaire to the doctor. She had a really bad ear infection. She had to get a shot along with oral antibiotics.........................she is much better!! Then the rest of the week was just normal everyday busy, busy, busy. Saturday we went to Elijah's second birthday party. So much fun!! Yesterday I took a nap. I never take naps...............but it was great ;)

...Stuff...

A couple of Saturdays ago we went to Uncle Matt's and Mae Mae's to celebrate Blake's birthday. He turned 18!!!!  The guys went and played paint ball. The gals and Pepaw and Elijah went to Target.  Whoo Hoo!  Love me some Target!  We all met at the paint ball place for cake and ice cream. I think the guys got beat up pretty bad. Ha!! They had a "ball"  What was funny was when we pulled up, we started hollering at and taking pictures of these guys-thinking it was our crew---wrong!  Anyway below are a few after shots.

This past week was busy. We had tumble class, church, and Family Reading Night at school .Yesterday I was VERY PRODUCTIVE.. Thank Goodness!! If I wasn't too embarrassed I would have taken a before and after picture of the rooms upstairs. But now everything has a place. So the plan is to keep it that way!!! Finally...................is all I can say. Now for trying to get my pictures in some type of order this summer.
